BLACKPINK Jennie, Lisa And ENHYPEN Steal The Show And How

New Delhi:

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival kicked off on April 11 at the Empire Polo Club in California. Among the standout performances at the event, it was the K-pop stars who stole the show. Special mention: BLACKPINK’s Jennie and Lisa, including boyband ENHYPEN.

While the festival marked ENHYPEN’s first outing at Coachella, Jennie and Lisa had previously performed on the desert stage as a group. This year, the girls made their solo debut at the music festival.

Jennie took the crowd into a frenzy with a mix of upbeat songs like Mantra and slower tracks like FTS and Damn Right. Singer Kali Uchis joined the K-pop icon for an unexpected collaboration.

ENHYPEN members Heeseung, Jay, Jake, Sunghoon, Sunoo, Jungwon and Ni-ki treated concert-goers with their chartbusters. Some of them were BlockbusterDrunkDazed, BlessedCursed, Bite Me and ParadoXXX Invasion. Additionally, they lit up the stage with softer numbers such as Daydream and Moonstruck.

After entertaining the crowd, ENHYPEN said, “It’s an honor to be with you here. I’m so excited because it’s my first Coachella stage. Tonight will definitely be a day in history.”

Before making his blockbuster debut at Coachella, ENHYPEN’s lead singer Jungwon told Soompi, “Although this will be our first time at Coachella, I believe we can do well and truly enjoy performing at the festival, thanks to our extensive stage experience performing at concerts and other events. We’re currently practicing rearranged versions of our songs, and I can already picture what the performance will look like. I think it’s going to be fun.”

ENHYPEN will perform once again on April 19.

Competition from ‘Good Bad Ugly’

The ‘Gadar’ actor is known to dominate in areas like Punjab and Haryana. However, the film is doing well even in Rajasthan. There was scope of the film to do much better in Maharashtra and Gujarat. In the south centres, it’s facing a tough competition from Ajith Kumar’s ‘Good Bad Ugly‘ which is now inching towards Rs 100 crore. Meanwhile, the charm of ‘Sikandar‘ is now beginning to fade.

Competition from ‘Kesari Chapter 2’

Akshay Kumar’s ‘Kesari Chapter 2‘ is creating a good buzz and it may be expected to give ‘Jaat’ a tough competition. But till then, the Sunny Deol starrer has time till Friday to make the most of it. Post that, it will all depend on the kind of reviews which ‘Kesari 2’ gets.

Amid Divorce Rumours, Video Of Sunita Ahuja’s “Zip It” Gesture To Paps Asking About Govinda’s Absence Is Crazy Viral

New Delhi:

Actor Govinda’s wife, Sunita Ahuja, made an appearance at a fashion event in Mumbai on Sunday where she was photographed by the media.

A video capturing her interaction with paps has since gone viral, drawing attention for her response to questions about her husband’s whereabouts.

During the event, Sunita was posing with her son Harshvardhan when photographers inquired about Govinda’s absence.

Sunita, who was attending to support her daughter Tina’s runway appearance as a showstopper, responded to the question “Govinda sir kahan par hai [Where is Govinda sir]” with a gesture indicating they should be silent, while her son appeared visibly uncomfortable.

As the photographers persisted with questions about Govinda, Sunita departed from the stage, sarcastically asking if they wanted her home address to check on him. “Address de doon kya,” she asked.

Earlier this year, Sunita and Govinda were the subject of separation rumours. Reports circulated that they had been living apart and had initiated divorce proceedings.

However, these claims were later addressed by their legal representative, who clarified that although Sunita had filed for divorce in the previous year, the couple had since resolved their differences.

ICYDK, it was reported in February that the couple was contemplating separation due to ongoing disagreements and lifestyle differences.

In a previous interview, Sunita had mentioned that she and Govinda live in separate houses. She also noted that she had celebrated her birthday alone for the past 12 years, which intensified speculation about marital troubles. Despite these rumours, Sunita firmly stated that “nothing could separate” her from Govinda.

Addressing the speculation directly, she explained, “Alag-alag rehte hain matlab jab unhone politics join kiya tha tab meri beti jawaan ho rahi thi, toh saare karyakarta ghar par aate the. Ab jawaan beti hai, hum hain, hum shorts pehen ke ghar mein ghoomte hain, toh isliye humne saamne office le liya tha. Humko, mujhe aur Govinda ko is duniya mein agar koi alag kar de, kisi ka mai ka laal toh saamne aa jaye. (We live separately because when Govinda joined politics, my daughter was growing up, and party workers would frequently visit our home. Since we would wear shorts and move around freely at home, we decided to get an office nearby. If anyone in this world dares to separate me and Govinda, let them come forward).”

Actors Kareena Kapoor Khan and Prithviraj Sukumaran will headline Meghna Gulzar’s new directorial venture, Daayra. The film is described as a crime-drama that taps into the “pulse of the people“ as it confronts the “topical and diabolical realities unfolding in society today.”

Kareena, one of the foremost actresses in Hindi cinema today, is teaming for the first time with Malayalam star (and director) Prithviraj.

Meghna Gulzar has directed powerful films like Raazi, Talvar and Chhapaak. Her last, Sam Bahadur, was a war biopic starring Vicky Kaushal. Junglee Pictures, the banner behind Talvar and Raazi, is collaborating with Gulzar again for Daayra.

Co-written by screenwriters Yash and Sima alongside Gulzar, Daayra is currently in pre-production. While precise plot details are unavailable, the film is pegged as a gritty exploration of ‘crime and punishment, justice and truth’, themes that Gulzar deftly explored in 2015’s Talvar

Talking about Daayra, Kareena Kapoor Khan said in a statement, “As I celebrate 25 incredible years in Hindi cinema, I’m thrilled to announce my next film, Daayra, with the incredible Meghna Gulzar in the director’s chair. I’ve long admired her work, from Talvar to Raazi, and to be directed by her is a dream come true. The opportunity to collaborate with the talented Prithviraj is also a highlight, and I’m drawn to the film’s bold, thought-provoking narrative. Daayra promises to be a cinematic experience that challenges and inspires, and I look forward to working with Meghna, Prithviraj, and the team at Junglee Pictures on this powerful, timely film.”

Coming off the success—and political heat—of his Malayalam blockbuster L2: Empuraan, Prithviraj Sukumaran spoke about boarding his next Hindi film.

“When the script was narrated to me, I knew I had to do this,” Prithviraj said in a statement. “I was thoroughly absorbed by my character and what he brings to the table as the story progresses. It is layered and will definitely connect with the masses. Working with Meghna Gulzar’s vision, Junglee Pictures and an actor like Kareena Kapoor will be a great collaborative experience. Daayra is story that is one of a kind and digs deep into the societal norms, world of crime and punishment that unfolds.”

Meghna Gulzar said the story of Daayra will make us reflect on “the society we live in and its institutions that pilot us”.

“ With co-writers Sima and Yash, unravelling the greys within the black and white, was both challenging and exciting. And as Kareena and Prithviraj bring the lead characters to life, the narrative dynamics are all set to elevate further! It’s always creatively gratifying to collaborate with Junglee Pictures, known for backing stories that are compelling and demand telling,” Gulzar said.

Amrita Pandey, CEO of Junglee Pictures, added, “We are so very proud to be making Daayra. This story couldn’t be in better hands than Meghna’s. Her exceptional craft, deep sensitivity, and knack for blending entertainment and substance make her the ideal collaborator to bring this vision to life.”

Meet the star kid who made his debut with Priyanka Chopra, acted with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone – then vanished from the spotlight

Meet the star kid who made his debut with Priyanka Chopra, acted with Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone - then vanished from the spotlight

In the world of Bollywood, where stardom often runs in the family, it’s surprising when someone with strong filmy roots decides to take a quieter path. One such story is that of Vivaan Shah, the son of celebrated actors Naseeruddin Shah and Ratna Pathak Shah. Despite debuting with big names like Priyanka Chopra and working alongside the King of Bollywood, Shah Rukh Khan, Vivaan has slowly distanced himself from the spotlight.
From a family of legends of Indian cinema and theatre
Vivaan comes from one of Bollywood’s most respected families. His father, Naseeruddin Shah, and mother, Ratna Pathak Shah, are both known for their work in the film and theatre industries. His brother Imaad Shah is a musician and actor, and sister Heeba Shah is also an actress. But while Vivaan had acting in his blood, he didn’t grow up dreaming of the silver screen. In fact, his early life was far removed from the glitz and glamour of the industry.

Acting was never the plan
Unlike many star kids, Vivaan didn’t grow up dreaming of becoming an actor. He spent most of his school years far away from the film world. In a past interview with Indian Express he said, “I stumbled into acting as a profession, it was never planned.” He went on to state that he assumed his career would be based in academics, stating that “there, it was not fashionable to say you wanted to be an actor.”
A mind for academics
Vivaan is also a keen learner. He finished school at The Doon School in 2009 and applied to St. Stephen’s College at Delhi University. Sadly, he missed getting into the History Honours course by just one mark. Not happy with settling for a regular degree, he left after his first year and returned to Mumbai to study at Jai Hind College.
His acting break
According to Vivaan, acting wasn’t even a consideration as a career choice until director Vishal Bhardwaj invited him to audition for his film ‘7 Khoon Maaf’. “Being a huge fan of his, I agreed. It was on set, witnessing the filmmaking process, that I had an epiphany—cinema plays a crucial role in Indian society, and I was lucky to be part of it.” He went on to admit that it was that very moment that set him on the path to become a professional actor.
Big debut with Priyanka Chopra
Vivaan went on to make his acting debut in 2011 in Vishal Bhardwaj’s film ‘7 Khoon Maaf’, starring Priyanka Chopra. The film was a bold and dark story, and Vivaan got his first real experience of acting on a film set. This chance set him on the path to more roles, and just a few years later, he bagged a part in one of the biggest films of 2014.
Sharing the screen with Shah Rukh Khan
In Farah Khan’s colourful and star-studded film ‘Happy New Year’, Vivaan played a key role alongside Shah Rukh Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Sonu Sood, Boman Irani, and Jackie Shroff. His performance was noticed, and he spoke openly about how special the experience was for him. He told DNA, “My father is Farah’s biggest fan in the film industry. It’s a blessing that I got the opportunity to work with her. I consider myself extremely lucky and fortunate. I will cherish this moment for the rest of my life. I believe my father will be very proud and happy with my performance in the film.”

Stepping away from the spotlight
Despite the promising start, Vivaan didn’t chase fame or stardom. After ‘Happy New Year’, he took on more roles, but in smaller films. He was seen in ‘Bombay Velvet’ (2015) as Tony, ‘Laali Ki Shaadi Mein Laaddoo Deewana’ (2017) as Laaddoo, and later in ‘Kabaad The Coin’ (2020), ‘Ae Kaash Ke Hum’ (2020) and in ‘Coat’ (2023). While these films didn’t make big waves at the box office, they showed Vivaan’s choice to follow his own creative path, one that felt true to him.
A family of creatives
In a chat with Hindustan Times, Vivaan spoke warmly about the strong creative connection in his family. Their bond goes beyond just being family—they’re each other’s cheerleaders and collaborators. He said,“My parents and brother are my strongest supporters. We are best friends first and even better art collaborators.” Vivaan may not have made big waves on the screen these days as he was last seen in the film ‘Inn Galiyon Mein’ alongside Jaaved Jaaferi and Avantika Dasani.

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt wedding anniversary: When the doting hubby said criticism towards his wife was ‘just jealousy and mischief’ | Hindi Movie News

Ranbir Kapoor-Alia Bhatt wedding anniversary: When the doting hubby said criticism towards his wife was 'just jealousy and mischief’

Ranbir Kapoor and Alia Bhatt’s romance began in 2018 while filming on the sets of ‘Brahmastra’. Their relationship soon heated up, and on 14 April 2022, the couple got married in an intimate ceremony at their Mumbai home. Surrounded by close friends and family, the wedding was simple, elegant and full of love. Over the years, both Ranbir and Alia have earned their place, not just as powerhouse performers in Bollywood, but also as one of the industry’s most adored couples.
As ‘Ralia’ celebrate their third wedding anniversary, let’s look back at the time when the ‘Rockstar’ actor gushed over his wife and proved to be her biggest cheerleader.
Ranbir’s heartfelt praise
Back in 2022, during an interview with NDTV, RK spoke about Alia with deep admiration. He made it clear that his words were not just out of love, but from a place of respect for her talent and personality.
“One thing is clear and I’m not saying this because she’s my wife. Alia in the history of Indian cinema is probably one of the most important actors there’s ever been. The work she’s done on screen or the kind of way she carries herself, the value system that she has and what she stands by, I haven’t seen that strength in men or women and I think we should just respect that,” he said.
Ranbir also defended his wife against negative comments she was receiving at the time, especially since at that time she was pregnant with Raha and still promoting ‘Brahmastra’. “I think the way she has carried herself through the entire marketing of this film being pregnant, being in the condition that she is – I think you should only be inspired by that. Any kind of criticism is just jealousy and mischief makers and stupidity and we should not take that seriously.”
As they mark their third anniversary, fans continue to admire their journey—one filled with hard work, love, and a genuine partnership.

On the work front, Ranbir and Alia will reunite on screen in Sanjay Leela Bhansali’s ‘Love & War’, which also stars Vicky Kaushal. The film is set to hit theatres on March 20, 2026. Meanwhile, Ranbir will star in Nitesh Tiwari’s ‘Ramayana’, alongside Sai Pallavi as Sita, Ravi Dubey as Lakshman, Sunny Deol as Hanuman, and Yash as Ravana. The first part of the film will release on Diwali 2026, with the second part following on Diwali 2027. Alia Bhatt will also be seen in ‘Alpha’ with Sharvari Wagh.

K-Pop singer WOODZ’s agency responds to dating rumours with late actress Kim Sae-ron: It’s difficult for us to confirm | Korean Movie News

K-Pop singer WOODZ's agency responds to dating rumours with late actress Kim Sae-ron: It's difficult for us to confirm

K-pop idol WOODZ, also known as Cho Seung-youn, has found himself caught in the middle of fresh dating rumours linked to the late actress Kim Sae-ron. The unexpected claims have added a new twist to the ongoing scandal surrounding her alleged involvement with actor Kim Soo-hyun.
How the rumours began
The new buzz began when popular YouTuber Lee Jin-ho uploaded a video suggesting that Kim Sae-ron had been in a secret relationship with a male singer between early 2021 and May 2022. Although he didn’t name the singer, he did share a few blurred photos and pointed to the mystery man’s identity.
It didn’t take long for internet sleuths to come to their own conclusion that the unnamed singer could be WOODZ, linking the two stars through a series of old social media interactions. From photos where they appeared together, to a coffee truck Kim Sae-ron allegedly sent to WOODZ’s filming set – netizens started to connect the dots.
Agency finally breaks silence
With the rumours gaining traction, WOODZ’s agency, EDAM Entertainment, issued a short but clear statement to calm the growing speculation. As quoted by Soompi, the agency said, “Because it’s a matter related to [the artist’s] personal life, it’s difficult for us to confirm. We ask for your understanding in this regard.” The statement did not confirm or deny the alleged relationship.

Who is WOODZ?
For those unfamiliar, WOODZ is a well-known name in the K-pop world. He began his career as a member of the Chinese-Korean boy band ‘UNIQ’ in 2014. He later shot to fame after appearing on the hit survival show ‘Produce X 101’ in 2019. His talent stood out, and he secured fifth place, which earned him a spot in the project group ‘X1’. However, the group disbanded after a short time, and WOODZ moved on to focus on his solo career.
His solo debut came in 2020 with his first EP ‘Equal’, and he’s since released popular tracks like ‘Hijack’, ‘I Hate You’ and ‘Love Me Harder’. Known for his strong vocals and songwriting skills, he has built a loyal fanbase over the years. WOODZ is currently serving in the South Korean military, having enlisted in January 2024. He is expected to complete his service and be discharged by 21 July 2025.

The bigger controversy: Kim Sae-ron and Kim Soo-hyun
This rumour involving WOODZ is just one part of a much larger controversy. Kim Soo-hyun, star of shows like ‘It’s Okay to Not Be Okay’, has also been accused of having a relationship with Kim Sae-ron when she was only 15 and he was 27. It is also being speculated that this pressure played a part in her tragic death.

Randeep Hooda says makers of Akshay Kumar’s Kesari acted in bad taste while Battle of Saragarhi was still underway: ‘Bahut hi depression ho gaya tha’ | Hindi Movie News

Randeep Hooda says makers of Akshay Kumar's Kesari acted in bad taste while Battle of Saragarhi was still underway: 'Bahut hi depression ho gaya tha'

Randeep Hooda, who is currently seen in Jaat opposite Sunny Deol, recently opened up about one of the biggest regrets of his career, the ambitious yet unfinished project Battle of Saragarhi. In a conversation with journalist Shubhankar Mishra, Randeep shared how deeply involved he was in the film, to the point where he turned down other big opportunities and committed three years of his life to the role.
Makers of Kesari acted in bad taste
The actor revealed that his film had started production before Kesari (2019), which starred Akshay Kumar. “Uske baad Kesari bani thi. Uske doran hi shuru kar di thi which was in bad taste…” he said, implying that it felt disrespectful for another version to move forward while his was already being made.
He added that nearly 30 to 40 percent of Battle of Saragarhi had already been filmed when it was abruptly shelved. Hooda lamented the reasons behind it, saying, “Woh picture ki shooting bhi hui. Woh lalchi logon ke lalach ki vajah se nahi bani. Usme main akela hi Sikh tha. Baki koi Sikh nahin tha.”
Wanted to represent the Sikh community with authenticity and respect
Randeep expressed that he was committed to portraying his Sikh character with authenticity. He wanted to move away from the superficial portrayals that had been seen in previous films. Speaking about his approach, he said that he had taken an oath in front of the Guru Granth Sahib and that the film “bahut Sikh religion pe aur Sikh bhavano pe dhala tha.”

JAAT Launches Song at Ghat

Randeep even let go of a role in the sequel to Extraction to remain available for Battle of Saragarhi. “Maine kasam kahi thi Guru Granth Sahib ke samne…” he said, explaining his spiritual and emotional investment in the film.
But when the project came to a halt, the disappointment hit hard. “Bahut hi depression ho gaya tha,” Randeep admitted, calling it one of the most emotionally draining phases of his career.

Directed by Rajkumar Santoshi, Battle of Saragarhi was supposed to feature Randeep as Havildar Ishar Singh. While the film never saw the light of day, Akshay Kumar went on to play the same character in Anurag Singh’s Kesari, which was a commercial success.
