Everyone’s favourite American sitcom Friends aired for 10 years, from September 22, 1994, to May 6, 2004.

The fan-favourite show was led by  Jennifer Aniston, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, Matt LeBlanc, Matthew Perry, and David Schwimmer, and created by  David Crane and Marta Kauffman.

The plot of the show revolved around 6 friends in their late 20s and early 30s, living in New York, as they combat the various challenges in their careers, personal, and love lives.

The iconic theme song of Friends—I’ll Be There for You by The Rembrandts, became a phenomenon upon the show’s humongous success.

However, David Schwimmer who played the role of Ross Geller in the show, recently revealed that he did not like it, on Matt Lucas and David Walliams’ Making a Scene podcast.

David said, “I’ll be really honest, there was a time for quite a while that just hearing the theme song would really…you know what I mean? I just had that reaction. I mean, I just had heard it so many times.”

He added, “And any time you’d go on a show or a talk show or an interview, that would be your intro song. So I just didn’t have the greatest response to it.”

However, recalling how his daughter would love listening to the same song, David revealed that his perspective changed.

He shared, “I’d be making breakfast or whatever and I’d hear my kid’s laughter. My whole relationship to that song and to the show changed.”

Furthermore, speaking about whether he ever watched Friends after completion, David confessed, “For me, it’s like, I did it, I’m moving on. I don’t go back and revisit. I never watched the show after we finished it.”

The Friends: The Reunion premiered back on May 27, 2021, on HBO Max where all 6 lead cast members returned. They indulged in some table reads of a few of the most iconic scenes, spoke about BTS moments, and took their fans on a trip down memory lane.

Alia Bhatt and Ranbir Kapoor’s romance bloomed on the sets of Ayan Mukerji’s Brahmastra. The two got married on April 14, 2022, and welcomed their baby girl Raha on November 6, 2022.

An old interview between Kareena Kapoor Khan and Ranbir Kapoor from her show What Women Want has re-surfaced.

Kareena is heard revealing that Ranbir stayed over in the hospital with Alia Bhatt for a week after their daughter Raha was born. However, Saif Ali Khan did not stay back even for a night when either Taimur or Jeh were born.

Ranbir said, “I was very good like I was with her. You know, I had taken a sabbatical from work for two to three months prior to the delivery. You know, I stayed in the hospital for a week with her.”

Kareena responded, “That means you’re such a lovely husband. I mean, like look at it. Saif didn’t stay one night with me at the hospital.” 

Kareena and Saif got married in 2012. They welcomed their first son Taimur in 2016, and their second son Jeh in 2021.

Alia Bhatt has been hinting at her plans for a second child with Ranbir in several interviews recently.

On IMDb’s Icons Only segment, Alia had spoken about her desires, “Hopefully, many more movies, not just as an actor but hopefully also as a producer. More babies, lots of travel, and just a healthy, happy, simple, quiet, peaceful, full-of-nature life.”

On Jay Shetty’s podcast, she also mentioned how she has a boy’s name saved just in case Ranbir and her second child is a boy.
 

Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi is one of television czarina Ektaa Kapoor’s cult shows that aired back on July 3, 2000, and concluded in November 6, 2008.

Like most of Ektaa Kapoor’s serials those days, Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi led by Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay had a crazy fanbase who remained loyal to the popularity of the show, till the very end.

Pinkvilla has exclusively learnt that Ektaa Kapoor is currently very busy with the work of bringing back Kyunki Saas Bhi Kabhi Bahu Thi for a limited series, with the OGs Smriti Irani and Amar Upadhyay who played the characters of Tulsi and Mihir (briefly), respectively.

While all details regarding the same are being kept under wraps, Pinkvilla has learnt that the former Minister of Women and Child Development, Smriti Irani is dedicatedly working out to get into her character again.

The report also suggests that the iconic theme song of the show which began with Tulsi going around the house and introducing all her family members, will be recreated and shot in the same location.

The makers are planning to announce the big news in June 2025. Pinkvilla did not gain an official confirmation or any further comments from Ektaa Kapoor’s representatives upon reaching out.

Ektaa Kapoor’s family-oriented shows back then, which also included Sakshi Tanwar’s Kahaani Ghar Ghar Ki, had a cult status.

Rapper Cardi B has alleged that her estranged husband, Offset, has been stalking and harassing her amid their divorce.  

During a recent live conversation on X Spaces, as reported by People, Cardi B claimed that Offset was upset after she sent his girlfriend text messages exposing his alleged behaviour.  

“This guy is mad because I texted his girlfriend, showing him begging me – saying he was going to take his own life and even mine,” she said.  

She further accused Offset of harassing the man she has been rumoured to be dating. “He sent text messages to someone I was dealing with, including videos of us having sex. That’s the kind of stuff I’ve been dealing with for the past two months,” Cardi B alleged.  

According to the rapper, Offset also becomes aggressive whenever she travels. “Every time I go out of town, he harasses me. He leaves me voice notes trying to tear down my self-esteem, and I’m so tired of it,” she said, adding that he has also been sending her explicit voicemails.  

She concluded her statement by stating that Offset has been harassing not only her but also her friends.  

In addition, Cardi B accused Offset of neglecting their children during the 2024 holiday season. “You just called your daughter for the first time this year – yesterday,” she claimed. She added, “You love your kids so much, but you didn’t buy them anything for Christmas. Yet, you went to New York to buy gifts for your other kids.”  

Cardi B and Offset, who married in 2017, share three children: daughter Kulture, son Wave and a baby girl born in September 2024. 

Cardi filed for divorce from Offset for the second time in July 2024, having previously filed in September 2020 before reconciling.

The highly anticipated prequel to Kantara has officially been slated for release on October 2, 2025. Putting an end to speculation about potential delays, the makers have reassured fans that the film is right on track.  

Rumours of a postponement had been circulating on social media, but Hombale Films took to Instagram on Wednesday to set the record straight. Their statement read, “???????? Doubts. ???????? delays. The legendary saga, #KantaraChapter1 unfolds on October 2nd, 2025.”  

Actor Rishab Shetty, who has poured his heart into Kantara: Chapter 1, recently shared a glimpse of his rigorous training for the film. In an Instagram post, he was seen fully immersed in a Kalaripayattu session. Keeping the caption simple, he added just a heart emoji.  

Rishab previously won the prestigious National Award for Best Actor for Kantara, which he also wrote and directed. The 2022 film became a pan-India blockbuster.  

Reflecting on the honour, Shetty told ANI, “This award is a result of my entire team’s hard work. I may be the face of the film, but the production house, cinematographer, technicians – everyone played a crucial role in making this possible.”  

Expressing his gratitude to his supporters, he added, “I want to thank the people of Karnataka and the National Awards panel for recognizing this film. The love from the audience made this a success, and I dedicate this win to them.”  

Set in the fictional village of Dakshina Kannada, Kantara followed Shetty’s character, a Kambala champion, as he clashed with a determined Forest Range Officer. The film also won the National Award for Best Popular Film Providing Wholesome Entertainment.

In 2012, British artiste Fink aka Fin Greenall made his way to India for the first time as a performer, playing every where — from a theatre in Mumbai and the NH7 Weekender festival in Bengaluru, to the erstwhile Blue Frog club in New Delhi.

That is quite a range of spaces for the often-acoustic, intimate folk and indie rock that Fink performs. Plus, Greenall and his band also got to collaborate with the likes of music duo Salim-Sulaiman for the series The Dewarists, for a song titled ‘Let Go’. That explains why Fink says he has “two sets of memories” from India.

Over video call from his current home in Berlin, Fink talks about his first impression, “I got to see real life in India for just a week. But it wasn’t about staying at a fancy hotel and playing a gig. It was just wonderful. I fell in love so hard.”

Since then, Fink and his band have, by his own admission, “been dying to get back” to perform in India, a country he feels not many artistes get to perform in. To that end, Fink and his band’s drummer/guitarist Tim Thornton will be back in India for a tour.

Fink’s Acoustic Tour’s India leg includes stops in Mumbai on April 3, Bengaluru on April 4 and New Delhi on April 6. In Bengaluru, singer-songwriter L’nee Golay will provide support. Fink says, “I can’t wait to get back now. I feel I’m better and could do a much better job this time.”

He laments that he cannot exactly venture out to try street food in India since he does not want it to affect his performances in any way. He says with a laugh, “You walk around the streets, and you smell that stuff, and you say to yourself, ‘That’s going to be delicious.’”

Fink has been touring North America and Europe from last year and as an acoustic act, bringing the various moods of their albums, including the 2014 breakout album Hard Believer, Resurgam from 2017 and most recently, the 2024 album Beauty In Your Wake.

He says, “We did all of Spain, Portugal, Italy — places where we can do about 500 to 1,000 tickets. We love this because it means we can come to Mumbai, Bangalore and Delhi, and we’re not going to lose money. We’re not going to make much money, but we’re going to finally play for our Indian fans.”

It has been just over a decade since Hard Believer and songs such as ‘Looking Too Closely’ catapulted them to global fame, and looking back, Fink says, “When you get a little bit of success, the world suddenly becomes rather big.”

In terms of the songs they will play for Indian fans, he says about 80% of their setlist is often fixed and the rest “is a question mark”. He adds, “Somebody might shout out a track, and we will just do it. We’re quite flexible on stage.”

That means everything from ‘This Is The Thing’ to ‘Sort of Revolution’ to more songs off Beauty In Your Wake, including ‘Follow You Down’, ‘One Last Gift’ and more. Compared to his earlier material, Fink says his newer songs run deep. “While ‘What Would You Call Yourself’, is a philosophical question about identity, ‘The Only Thing That Matters’, is about legacy, and a philosophical thought process of who am I and what our legacy is.”

When asked what his next material — to be recorded once he is back from five months of touring through the world this year — might veer towards, Fink smiles and says he has no idea. “But it’s going to be great.”

With one day off before the shows in India kick off in Mumbai and one day before his third and final show in Delhi, he has made enough space in his bags to carry back as much as possible, especially Bollywood soundtracks on vinyl. He adds, “I’m gonna be walking around like such a tourist, saying, ‘Oh, I need that. I want that. That looks nice, that smells nice.’”

For the unversed, Surilie, who turned 35 on April 3, made her TV debut in 2008 with Meet Mila De Rabba. She is known for her roles in Punjabi movies like Power Cut, Shava Ni Girdhari Lal, and Posti.
