KKR coach Chandrakant Pandit: ‘Who wouldn’t be happy about home advantage?’ | Cricket News

KKR coach Chandrakant Pandit: ‘Who wouldn’t be happy about home advantage?’

Mumbai: Even as he sought to downplay the ongoing controversy regarding the pitch conditions at Eden Gardens, Kolkata Knight Riders head coach Chandrakant Pandit acknowledged that every team appreciates any home advantage it gets. He also emphasised that it was only natural for KKR’s head coach and captain, Ajinkya Rahane, to “expect something to be provided” at their home ground.
The pitch debate erupted after KKR captain Rahane expressed a preference for spin-friendly wickets at Eden Gardens. However, the stadium’s curator, Sujan Mukherjee, maintained that franchises have no say in pitch preparation.

Speaking on Sunday ahead of KKR’s third IPL 2025 match against Mumbai Indians, Pandit, while responding to a question about whether home teams should get pitches tailored to their advantage, said, “Who wouldn’t be happy about that?”
Earlier in the press conference, when asked about the issue, Pandit stressed that his focus remained on the upcoming match.
“As a coach and team management, we play on whatever surface is provided to us. The curator is in control. I am not thinking about what should be done or who controls what. Let’s focus on the match,” Pandit said.
However, the discussion also touched upon a broader point: Should franchises influence pitch conditions at their home venues? Since IPL teams lease stadiums and invest significantly, they naturally expect some level of home advantage.
Responding to this, Pandit stated, “That doesn’t necessarily mean they have control over pitch preparation. Of course, as team management, coach, and captain, we do expect something to be provided. That’s all,” he concluded.

“Playing More As A Brand…”: Sanjay Manjrekar’s Huge Statement On MS Dhoni’s No. 9 Stunt

MS Dhoni copped a lot of criticism from fans and experts alike as he came out to bat at No. 9 in Chennai Super Kings (CSK)’s defeat to Royal Challengers Bengaluru (RCB) in IPL 2025. Chasing a big total, CSK sent out batters like Sam Curran and Ravichandran Ashwin ahead of Dhoni, who is one of the most reputed power-hitters in the game. Former India cricketer and reputed expert Sanjay Manjrekar has given his take on the decision, stating that Dhoni’s presence in the CSK team is becoming more due to his brand and less due to playing qualities.

“I will look at the larger picture. If you look at this year and even last year, Dhoni is playing more as a brand than as a player,” Manjrekar said, speaking on JioStar.

“When they select the playing XI, they don’t pick an extra batter because MS is there. MS Dhoni is a bonus for them. He has a different role,” Manjrekar said.

While Manjrekar acknowledged the incredible brand of Dhoni, he did admit that his abilities are not being utilised properly by CSK by sending him so low down the order.

Manjrekar even stated that Dhoni should become the captain of the franchise so that his utility increases.

“I think if MS Dhoni is playing and batting so late, he should be the captain. He is doing great as a wicketkeeper, but he would contribute more as captain. Right now, he is being under-utilised,” Manjrekar said.

Dhoni slammed 30 runs off 16 balls against RCB despite coming in to bat at No. 9. However, his late arrival meant that those runs held little value and came at a time when the game was already over.

MS Dhoni was retained for just Rs 4 crore by CSK ahead of IPL 2025, with players who haven’t played international cricket for five or more years being allowed to be retained as uncapped.

IPL 2025: Punjab Kings' Suryansh Shedge, Shreyas Iyer’s protege, eyes meeting with 'idol' Virat Kohli

NEW DELHI: Growing up in the shadows of Shreyas Iyer and Ajinkya Rahane, young Mumbai batter Suryansh Shedge has carved his own path. Having made his white-ball debut under Iyer and played red-ball cricket under Rahane, the talented all-rounder is now gearing up for a new chapter — one that he hopes will lead him to his idol Virat Kohli.
The swashbuckling Mumbai batter, also a pacer, was picked by Punjab Kings for Rs 30 lakh at the IPL 2025 auction.

Shedge first caught the spotlight during the Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 Trophy, where he delivered match-winning performances at a blistering strike rate. A key contributor to Mumbai’s title-winning campaign, he scored 131 runs in nine matches at a staggering strike rate of 251.92, smashing 13 sixes. His all-round brilliance also saw him pick up eight wickets.
One of the most iconic moments of the tournament came during the SMAT quarter-final against Vidarbha when India’s T20I captain Suryakumar Yadav bowed down to Shedge after his stunning knock.

IPL | Punjab Kings’ Suryansh Shedge: From playing under Shreyas to dreaming of meeting Kohli

Walking in at No. 6 with 60 runs needed off 24 balls, Shedge smashed an unbeaten 36 off just 12 deliveries (four sixes, one four), powering Mumbai into the semis.
He was at his explosive best in the final as well, rescuing Mumbai with a sensational 36 off 15 balls to clinch the title. His heroics earned him the Player of the Match award in the summit clash.
His consistency and power-hitting in domestic cricket paved way for an IPL contract.
Shedge made his IPL debut against Gujarat Titans, but didn’t get a chance to bat. However, the 22-year-old is keeping his eyes on the bigger picture—meeting Virat and sharing the field with him when Punjab Kings face Royal Challengers Bengaluru on 18 and 20 April.
TimesofIndia.com caught up with Suryansh Shedge to discuss his journey under Iyer and Rahane, his breakthrough domestic season, and his dream of meeting Virat. Excerpts:

How instrumental was Shreyas in helping you secure an IPL contract with Punjab Kings? Having played under him for Mumbai, did you receive a call from him before the auction?
No, I didn’t receive a call from him, so I’m not sure about his role in my selection. But all I can say is that he’s someone I look up to, and playing under him has always been fun. I played two white-ball tournaments under his leadership, and we won the championship in one of them. The way he manages his players, the environment he creates, and the camaraderie we all share — it all comes from the captain himself. A lot of credit goes to him.
In the match against Gujarat Titans, Shreyas was on 97 but still encouraged Shashank Singh to go all out in the last six balls instead of focusing on his century. Can you recall any other instance where Shreyas prioritised the team over personal milestones?
One moment that comes to mind is a Vijay Hazare Trophy game against Hyderabad. We were chasing a relatively low target, and Shreyas usually bats at No. 3 or 4, but he promoted us youngsters ahead of him and came in at No. 8 or 9. That’s just the kind of selfless player he is. It has always been the case, which is why he has been so successful. That mindset—to always put the team first—is something I relate to. We both believe the team comes first, and that’s why we’ve bonded so well. Over the years, he has always put his team above personal milestones, and that attitude is contagious.
As a captain of a franchise, his leadership will influence every player in the squad, and we’ll all gain from it.

Suryansh SMAT

Suryakumar Yadav (R) bows to Suryansh Shedge during the Syed Mushtaq Ali Trophy.

A picture of Suryakumar Yadav bowing to you after Mumbai’s SMAT victory went viral. Can you share the story behind that moment? What did it mean to you?
That photo means the world to me because I’ve watched it on repeat. When the current Indian T20 captain rates you highly, it boosts your confidence and puts you at ease. With the IPL happening so quickly, everything felt like a whirlwind, but that moment made it even more special. Having shared the dressing room with so many greats, receiving that gesture from him meant a lot to me.
Would you say your batting style resembles Rohit Sharma, Suryakumar Yadav, or Shreyas Iyer?
I wouldn’t compare my batting approach to any of the current cricketers—I am my own player. Each of them has a unique style, and you can learn a lot by observing them. I’ve picked up things from everyone, but my playing style is my own. Shreyas Bhaiya plays differently, Rohit Bhaiya plays differently, and Surya Bhaiya plays differently. There’s so much to learn, and I try to incorporate those lessons into my intent, practice sessions, and matches. But I’ve never deliberately tried to replicate anyone’s batting style when I’m out there.
Who are the cricketers you admire the most, and why?
I admire Virat Bhaiya a lot, along with Ben Stokes and Shreyas Bhaiya. I know Shreyas personally now—he’s someone you can look up to, both as a player and as a human being. The way he speaks to you and the conversations we have about cricket, even off the field, show how passionate he is. You can feel his enthusiasm, and it’s contagious.
Virat Bhaiya is the chase master—I’ve learned so much from watching him over the years. As for Ben Stokes, I admire his mindset. Whenever the team needs him, he steps up, whether it’s batting, bowling, fielding, or captaincy. He has done everything for his country, and there’s a lot to learn from that. So, these three are the players I truly look up to.
You’ve mentioned your admiration for Hardik Pandya and Ben Stokes. Have you ever had a chance to meet them or have a conversation with Hardik?
I’ve never met Ben Stokes, but I have met Hardik Pandya. He may not remember, but I have! He has a different aura—you can feel it when you’re around him. The number of games he has won for India speaks volumes about his character and how well he has prepared himself for where he is today.
Punjab Kings are yet to face RCB, where you’ll go up against Virat Kohli. You’ve spoken about him before—how do you feel about meeting him on the field? Do you have any plans or specific things you’d like to discuss with him?
If I get the chance to talk to him, I’d ask how he manages to perform at such a high level so consistently. You have to give credit to someone who has given so much to the country. He has done it for years, and whenever the team needs him, he’s there.
I’d love to pick his brain about how he conducts himself, how he prepares, and how he constructs his innings. He opens the innings, stays unbeaten so often, and maintains such a high strike rate—it’s commendable. There’s so much to learn from him. Sharing the field with him will be unreal. I don’t think I’ll believe it at first when I see him standing there, but it had to happen someday, and I’m just blessed that it’s happening this year.

How has playing domestic cricket and sharing the dressing room with senior Mumbai players contributed to your development as a cricketer?
Playing alongside such individuals teaches you a lot. You observe how they live, how they approach their game, and their lifestyles off the field. At this level, the skill gap isn’t huge—it’s the mental aspect that sets players apart. Those who can perform under pressure prevail.
Sharing the dressing room with greats, especially the renowned Mumbai players who have played at the highest level, gives me an advantage when facing challenging situations. I’ve already picked their brains on how they approach different scenarios. I can’t share everything on camera, but I’ve learned a lot.
How valuable has the presence of senior players like Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma in domestic cricket been for young cricketers in terms of experience and development?
It has helped us a lot. When you share the dressing room with or play against certain players, you observe their preparation, pre-match routines, and mindset in different situations.
For example, if I’m in the dugout waiting to bat and Surya Bhaiya is sitting next to me, our conversations help me understand what needs to be done and how to approach the game. These experiences prepare you for the future so that when you’re on your own, you know exactly what to do. It gives you a lot of clarity.
You’ve often credited Abhishek Nair for shaping your career. Now that he’s part of the Indian team’s coaching staff, have you spoken to him about your aspirations of playing for India?
Every cricketer dreams of playing for India. At some point, we’ve all imagined ourselves wearing that jersey whenever we close our eyes.
I’ve been fortunate to work closely with someone who understands what it takes to play at this level. I’ve been with him for nearly three years, and he knows exactly how things work. He’s someone I can follow blindly. No matter how many questions I have, I can always go to him and ask freely.
That transition from junior cricket to senior cricket was tough, but Abhishek sir helped me a lot. I also talk to Manish Bangera sir, my childhood coach, who laid the foundation for my technique. And I’ve had conversations with Monty Desai sir as well. But when it comes to bridging the gap between junior and senior cricket, Abhishek sir’s guidance has been invaluable. His approach to the game is different, and you can feel it when you attend his practice sessions. I genuinely enjoy training under him and learning from him.
Did Abhishek Nair say anything special to you after you made it to the Indian cricket team?
Our conversations are ongoing. Whenever I’m stuck somewhere, I go to him, and whenever he feels I need improvement, he approaches me. He’ll tell me what needs to be done, and I follow it blindly. That’s how our relationship works.

Rajasthan Royals’ stand-in captain Riyan Parag has been fined Rs 12 lakh for maintaining a slow overrate during his team’s six-run victory over Chennai Super Kings in the Indian Premier League match in Guwahati. Rajasthan Royals secured their first victory in IPL 2025, defeating Chennai Super Kings by six runs in Guwahati on Sunday (March 30). After the match, former India captain MS Dhoni shared a heartfelt moment with Rajasthan coach Rahul Dravid, who despite being in a wheelchair due to a recent leg injury, came onto the field for the customary handshakes.
Dravid, who has been using an electric wheelchair and crutches during team preparations and matches, sustained the injury while playing cricket in Bengaluru before IPL 2025.

“Recovering well. I got some great support. Just, unfortunately, at my age, playing cricket matches wasn’t a great idea I think. But it’s ok. It happens, so it’s fine,” Dravid explained before the match.

The match saw Nitish Rana deliver an outstanding performance, scoring 81 runs off 36 balls after being promoted to number 3. His innings included 10 fours and five sixes, helping Rajasthan post 182/9.
Wanindu Hasaranga contributed significantly with a four-wicket haul for Rajasthan Royals.
Chennai Super Kings, who haven’t successfully chased a target exceeding 180 since 2019, fell short again. They managed 176/6 in their allotted overs.
Captain Ruturaj Gaikwad led the Chennai chase with 63 runs, but it wasn’t enough to prevent their second consecutive defeat.
MS Dhoni, known for his finishing abilities, couldn’t overcome the bowling of Maheesh Theekshana and Sandeep Sharma in the final overs.
The post-match interaction between Dhoni and Dravid was particularly noteworthy as Dhoni encouraged CSK’s younger players to greet the Rajasthan coach.
Despite the loss, Chennai Super Kings maintained their position above Rajasthan in the points table, holding the seventh spot while Rajasthan remained in ninth place.

WTT Star Contender Chennai 2025: Teen Prodigies Oh Jun-Sung, Miwa Harimoto Reign Supreme

Eighteen-year-old Oh Jun-sung defeated French youngster Thibault Poret in a seven-game Men’s Singles thriller to win his maiden WTT Star Contender title at WTT Star Contender Chennai 2025 on Sunday. In Women’s Singles, 16-year-old Miwa Harimoto, an Olympic medallist in Paris 2024, defeated her compatriot Honoka Hashimoto 4-2 to win her first crown at this level. Earlier in the day, Manav Thakkar’s historic run came to an end in the penultimate round, leaving him as the sole Indian male player to have reached a WTT Star Contender Semifinal. South Korea’s Lim Jong-hoon and Shin Yu-bin, meanwhile, won the Mixed Doubles title with a straight-games victory.

WTT Star Contender Chennai 2025 Presented By IndianOil was organised by Stupa Sports Analytics and Ultimate Table Tennis (UTT) under the Table Tennis Federation of India (TTFI). The event boasted a USD 275,000 prize purse and presented 600 ranking points to the winners.

Playing in front of a packed house at the Jawaharlal Nehru Indoor Stadium, Harimoto and Hashimoto engaged in spectacular long rallies, testing each other’s endurance and precision. The first two games saw both players cancelling each other out, but from Game 3 onwards, the contest took on a new dimension under the restriction of the Expedite Rule. Forced to play faster and more decisively with the 13-shot cap in place, Harimoto thrived under pressure, showcasing exceptional agility and tactical brilliance. Despite her opponent’s relentless resistance, the 16-year-old held her nerve to win the Women’s Singles Final.

Later, the Men’s Singles Final between Oh and Poret was a thrilling, end-to-end battle with momentum shifting at every turn. Both players displayed incredible skill and resilience, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats. Oh, trailing 2-3, mounted a brilliant comeback to win the last two games, sealing a dramatic victory.

Manav’s memorable campaign ended in Session 1 with a hard-fought 3-1 loss to Thibault Poret in the Men’s Singles Semifinals, earning him 210 WTT ranking points and a prize of USD 4,000, marking a significant achievement for Indian table tennis. Shortly after, South Korea’s Lim and Shin, both Olympic medallists, showcased their prowess by clinching the Mixed Doubles title in straight games by easing past Japan’s Maharu Yoshimura and Satsuki Odo with a clinical 11-8, 11-5, 11-4 win.

Played across six days, WTT Star Contender Chennai 2025 featured 158 paddlers from across the globe, delivering high-octane matches and unforgettable moments throughout the event.

Pushpa Fever Grips IPL Yet Again As Wanindu Hasaranga’s Wild Celebration vs CSK Goes Viral

Rajasthan Royals leg-break spinner Wanindu Hasaranga’s love for South Indian movies was the underlying factor behind his ‘Pushpa’ style celebration against Chennai Super Kings in the ongoing Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025. The Sri Lankan ball tweaker’s four-wicket haul inspired the Royals to their first win in the 18th edition of the cash-rich league on an action-packed Sunday. Out of his four scalps, Hasaranga punched the return ticket of the Super Kings batters, a ball after conceding a maximum on three occasions.

Hasaranga added a filmy touch to celebrate his moment of success. He pulled off the trademark move of Allu Arjun’s blockbuster ‘Pushpa’ to add entertainment and spice to the gripping affair.

“I love to watch Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films, and I got that from the Pushpa film,” Hasaranga said after the match.

Like in the movies, Hasaranga was Rajasthan’s hero with the ball. He burst into the scene by dismissing Rahul Tripathi on his first ball of the match.

He continued to add to CSK’s woes, struck at crucial junctures, broke the backbone of their chase to leave them jaded, and ended his four-over spell with figures of 4/35.

“I tried to do my basic things, tried to bowl stumps, and at the end, I tried to bowl wide. Our batters batted really well in the first innings, and we saw how the wicket behaved,” he added.

Hasaranga trapped Shivam Dube, Tripathi, Rutuaj Gaikwad, and Vijay Shankar in his spin web, but he relished the CSK skipper’s scalp the most, who threatened to take the game away with his scorching 63.

“(On the wicket he enjoyed the most) Ruturaj Gaikwad because he’s a really good player, he batted really well, end of the innings I got him out. Riyan Parag took a brilliant catch, and Hetmyer was also gun in the field,” he said.

Rajasthan made CSK tilt at the windmills throughout their 182-run defence. CSK’s top stars came in and played a couple of shots but eventually perished and surrendered to a six-run defeat.

While the hosts derived a fair amount of schadenfreude, Hasaranga exuded confidence in their bowling attack, especially after the bashing they received in their previous two fixtures.

“We have a really good bowling attack, especially in the middle, myself and Maheesh (Theekshana), and we have different roles to play. The fast bowlers as well. Myself and Maheesh (Theekshana) have to play different roles, sometimes with the old ball and sometimes in the middle,” he said.

CSK Fangirl’s Reaction To MS Dhoni’s Dismissal Goes Viral, Triggers Memes. Watch

Chennai Super Kings’ ‘Thala’ MS Dhoni produced another unfulfilling performance in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2025 match against Rajasthan Royals on Sunday. Taking up the No. 7 spot in the batting order, Dhoni produced a few fireworks before getting caught in the deep by Shimron Hetmyer on the bowling of Sandeep Sharma. Seeing Dhoni depart, the entire Barsapara Cricket Stadium in Guwahati went silent despite it being the home ground of the Royals. Fans were hoping to see another successful chase from the bat of the master MS Dhoni, but Hetmyer ensured that he didn’t let that happen by taking a brilliant diving catch at the deep mid-wicket boundary.

Dhoni had scored 16 runs off 10 balls before being caught while trying to dispatch a yorker by Sandeep. His stay at the crease was important for CSK, who had to chase 20 runs in the final over, with Dhoni and Jadeja in the middle. In the end, it turned out to be a 6-run defeat for the Super Kings.

As Dhoni departed, a female fan’s reaction from the stands went viral. The fan’s expression as Hetmyer grabbed Dhoni’s catch became fodder for memes on the internet.

Courtesy of the defeat, CSK have now lost 2 matches in a row. The 5-time champions won their opening match of the campaign. But, have since tasted defeats against Royal Challengers Bengaluru and Rajasthan Royals.

There has also been a debate surrounding Dhoni’s batting position in this IPL, with the former India captain coming out at No. 7, No. 8, or No. 9 spots. However, after the match against Rajasthan, Chennai head coach Stephen Fleming revealed that Dhoni’s knees aren’t as well-oiled as 3-4 years ago. Hence, the veteran wicket-keeper batter can’t be asked to bat for 10-12 overs like before.

Rajasthan Royals‘ leg-spinner Wanindu Hasaranga celebrated his four-wicket haul against Chennai Super Kings with the iconic ‘Pushpa’ movie style celebration during their IPL 2025 match on Sunday. His performance was instrumental in securing Rajasthan’s first victory of the season, with final bowling figures of 4/35 in his four-over spell.
Hasaranga revealed the celebration was inspired by his love for South Indian cinema. “I love to watch Telugu, Malayalam, and Tamil films, and I got that from the Pushpa film,” he said after the match.

The Sri Lankan spinner made an immediate impact when brought on by dismissing Rahul Tripathi with his first delivery. He went on to claim the wickets of Shivam Dube, Ruturaj Gaikwad, and Vijay Shankar, with three of his dismissals coming right after conceding sixes.
“I tried to do my basic things, tried to bowl stumps, and at the end, I tried to bowl wide. Our batters batted really well in the first innings, and we saw how the wicket behaved,” Hasaranga explained about his bowling strategy.
Among his four wickets, Hasaranga particularly cherished dismissing CSK captain Gaikwad, who had scored a threatening 63 runs. “(On the wicket he enjoyed the most) Ruturaj Gaikwad because he’s a really good player, he batted really well, end of the innings I got him out. Riyan Parag took a brilliant catch, and Hetmyer was also gun in the field,” he stated.

The match concluded with Rajasthan successfully defending their total of 182 runs, securing a six-run victory.
Hasaranga expressed confidence in Rajasthan’s bowling capabilities, especially after their struggles in previous matches. “We have a really good bowling attack, especially in the middle, myself and Maheesh (Theekshana), and we have different roles to play. The fast bowlers as well. Myself and Maheesh (Theekshana) have to play different roles, sometimes with the old ball and sometimes in the middle,” he said.

Pat Cummins stays calm amid SRH slump: ‘It’s too early to worry about being two down’ | Cricket News

Pat Cummins stays calm amid SRH slump: 'It's too early to worry about being two down'

NEW DELHI: Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) skipper Pat Cummins remains unfazed by consecutive defeats following their explosive start to IPL 2025, maintaining that it’s “too early to worry.”
After setting the tournament alight with a massive 286/6 against Rajasthan Royals, SRH faltered with a five-wicket loss to Lucknow Super Giants at home, followed by a seven-wicket defeat to Delhi Capitals on Sunday.
“It’s too early to worry about being two down, hopefully, we’ll get back going forward,” Cummins said post-match. “As I said, we need to have a look at a few of our options. Maybe we just need to do one or two things differently and the results would change.”

Despite setbacks, the Australian pacer isn’t looking for drastic changes. “Overall, guys have shown glimpses of what they can do, don’t think we’ll change too much.”

He acknowledged that top-order struggles and poor shot selection played a role in their downfall.
“We didn’t get going, didn’t get a score on the board. A few wrong shots, but catches in the deep does happen in this format of the game.”
Believing fine margins made the difference, he added, “I don’t think it’s a big margin, on another day, you get going with a couple of shots, not everything went our way in the last two games, we can look back and think about different options.”
Aniket Verma’s fighting 74-run knock was a rare bright spot in an otherwise disappointing batting effort, preventing SRH from collapsing below 150.
“Coming into the tournament, everyone was super impressed with him (Aniket) going into the lead-up to the tournament, was fantastic and gave us half a chance, was impressive with the way he went about things (during the net sessions and practice games).”
Meanwhile, Mitchell Starc, who dismantled SRH’s top order with a stunning five-wicket haul, credited a complete team effort for Delhi Capitals’ dominant performance.
“It has been a good day. With the ball, in the field and with the bat. It was a fantastic performance by us today. There’s no ego in bowlers these days.”
The left-arm pacer emphasized the importance of adaptability.

Bombay Sport Exchange Episode 1: Interview with Sanjog Gupta, CEO (Sports) at JioStar

“As a bowler, you got to think out of the box. You need to do things you wouldn’t normally do. It was nice to contribute in the win today, we move forward from here.”
Acknowledging the challenge of staying unpredictable, he added, “Guys know what I am going to do, so you need to think out of the box. As an older player, you need to find different ways to get batters out. Tried to bowl different balls today, was pretty effective I think.”
Starc also praised the young squad, stating, “It’s a new set of players, they have been fantastic. You get to play with new guys, it’s a great group of players. It’s a pretty young group to be fair, looking forward to playing more with them.”
Delhi Capitals skipper Axar Patel was satisfied with how their plans unfolded.
“You need to be up with your game. You can’t take any game easily, there are 10 good teams playing. We need to focus on our plans and process. Today we were successful in doing so.”
Explaining his decision to extend Starc’s spell, he said, “The plan was to give Starc two overs at the start and two overs at the end, but he was in good rhythm. Hence, I gave him the third over and he was able to pick an important wicket.”
Looking ahead, he stressed the importance of adapting to conditions.
“We have experienced players in the team, they give me suggestions. Sometimes I follow them. Enjoying playing with these players. We are playing at Kotla since many years, we’ll have similar plans. Need to assess the conditions after going there.”
