NASA, the US Space agency, have just announced the delay of the Axiom Mission 4 because of operational issues and concerns. It was scheduled to be launched on June 22, 2025; however, there is a delay again. SpaceX Falcon 9 rocket and Dragon are at the launchpad stage at Kennedy Space Centre in Florida. This mission is going to be India, Poland and Hungary’s first government-sponsored flight in 40 years and also the second human flight of the three countries in the past.

Crew Members

As per ISRO, Peggy Whitson, Pilot Shubhanshu Shukla, and Sławosz Uznański-Wiśniewski and Tibor Kamu, the mission specialists and crew of the Commander, are set to be in quarantine in Florida, where the launch date is finalised. The crew will spend up to 14 days on the International Space Station and perform scientific experiments.

Mission Delays

This mission is going to be the first time for India in 40 years that an Indian is going to space after Rakesh Sharma. Shubhanshu Shukla is going to be the first man to step onto the ISS. There have been seven delays till now. The first launch was scheduled on May 29, but was delayed to June 8 because of the electrical harness observations. This date was later transferred to June 9. Then there occurred a delay due to weather till June 10.

After June 10, the delay occurred till June 11 because of the oxygen leak in the engine, which was anticipated by ISRO. This date again got delayed because NASA announced work with the Russian Space Agency and was evaluating a new pressure signature. The launch was scheduled on June 19, where the discussion regarding weather and health of the crew took place, and the date was again shifted to June 22.

NASA has found a new and final date for the launch of the Axiom 4 mission. All three nations are excited, and the new date of launch is expected to arrive on June 25, 2025, at 12:01 PM IST as per a post announced on X by ISS.

This would increase light transmittance and reduce light reflections in the phone. The display could support pol-less depolarisation technology.

According to the tipster, the new screen has significantly raised the bill of materials, making Realme GT 8 Pro the most expensive to produce among all new Android flagships expected in the coming months.

The latest claim indicates that Realme GT 8 Pro would follow Samsung’s Galaxy S25 Ultra’s footsteps by offering an anti-glare display. This would be a notable improvement over last year’s Realme GT 7 Pro, which had a 6.78-inch LTPO AMOLED display with 1.5K resolution and a 120Hz screen refresh rate.

The Realme GT 8 Pro is expected to launch in the China in the fourth quarter of this year, after Qualcomm announces the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset. The battery capacity of the phone is expected to be more than 7,000mAh with 100W charging support.

Both front and rear cameras of the OnePlus Nord 5 will support 4K video recording at 60fps. The smartphone will support a LivePhoto feature as well. It is confirmed to get a Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 SoC and support LPDDR5X RAM. The phone is claimed to offer up to 144fps gaming thanks to a 7,300sq mm VC cooling chamber. 

The OnePlus Nord 5 may offer an IP65 dust and water-resistant build, a 5,200mAh battery with 80W SuperVOOC charging support, and a 6.83-inch 120Hz full-HD+ (1,272×2,800 pixels) AMOLED display. It will likely support 8GB and 12GB of RAM, coupled with 256GB and 512GB storage options.

OnePlus Nord 5 is expected to be available in Dry Ice, Marble Sands, and Phantom Grey colourways. Meanwhile, the OnePlus Nord CE 5 could be sold in Black Infinity and Marble Mist colour options.

OnePlus Buds 4 ANC Features Confirmed

OnePlus has also confirmed that the Buds 4 TWS earphones will support up to 55dB adaptive active noise cancellation (ANC). They are claimed to offer a 3D Audio experience and LHDC 5.0 audio codec support. On Monday, in an open letter to players, Funcom also confirmed that Dune: Awakening would evolve to allow PvE players to experience end-game content without hindrances. Players will be able to progress in the game’s shared open world without unwanted conflict and PvP requirements, the studio said.

Australia’s online regulator called on the government to reverse its controversial exemption for YouTube from a social media ban for under-16s, an unusual intervention that echoes similar pleas from rival platforms including Facebook and TikTok.

The country’s eSafety Commissioner, Julie Inman Grant, said Tuesday she wanted the legislation to be “fair, consistent, and proportional.” Speaking on national radio, Inman Grant said fresh research showed Google-owned YouTube was the most-used social media platform and the biggest source of harm for young Australians.

“This ranges from misogynistic content to hateful material to violent fighting videos, online challenges, disordered eating, suicidal ideation,” said Inman Grant, who noted she didn’t expect YouTube to escape the ban in the first place. 

“I was surprised, but my job isn’t to endorse the legislation, it’s to enforce the rules,” she said.

The law was passed late last year and will come onto force by the end of 2025.

Competitors including Snap and Meta Platforms, the owner of Instagram and Facebook, have long been angered by YouTube’s favorable treatment. Their exasperation grew after it emerged that the government had made a personal pledge to YouTube’s boss to exempt the platform, even before a consultation process on the carveout had begun.

In a blog post, YouTube said Inman Grant’s comments ignored the benefits YouTube offered to school students and teachers. “We urge the government to follow through on the public commitment it made to ensure young Australians can continue to access enriching content on YouTube,” it said.
