Blake Lively is fighting to save more than her reputation—she’s desperately trying to hold on to her friendship with Taylor Swift, even as the fallout from her legal battle with It Ends With Us director Justin Baldoni sends shockwaves through her personal life. With Taylor’s boyfriend Travis Kelce now quietly distancing himself from Blake’s husband Ryan Reynolds, insiders say the divide is becoming increasingly public—and painful.

Blake Lively fights to win back Taylor Swift as Travis Kelce cuts ties with Ryan Reynolds

Despite Taylor Swift’s decision to step back, Blake Lively is reportedly doing everything she can to repair the rift. “Blake is devastated that things have gotten to this place, and she’s refusing to accept that their friendship is over. She’s been texting and calling Taylor, pleading for forgiveness,” a source close to the actress revealed. The rift widened after a leaked message from Blake to Baldoni stirred controversy. “If you ever get round to watching Game of Thrones, you’ll appreciate that I’m Khaleesi. And like her, I happen to have a few dragons,” Blake reportedly wrote—an eyebrow-raising statement that some believe referenced Swift as one of her symbolic “dragons.” But sources close to Taylor strongly deny she’d ever see herself in such a role. “She would never think of herself as Blake’s dragon, or protector,” one insider emphasized. And the fallout is now reaching beyond the women themselves. Travis Kelce, who has become a central figure in Taylor’s highly public personal life, has subtly made his stance known by unfollowing Ryan Reynolds on Instagram. It’s a quiet move—but one fans haven’t missed—and suggests Kelce is standing in solidarity with Swift as she distances herself from the drama.Blake, meanwhile, isn’t backing down. Determined to make things right, she’s reportedly enlisted mutual friends like Hugh Jackman and Salma Hayek to help rebuild the bridge to Taylor. Jackman, a longtime friend of Ryan, is said to be acting as a mediator behind the scenes. But Blake may be losing more than just Taylor. Insiders say that members of Swift’s inner circle, including Gigi Hadid, Selena Gomez, and Cara Delevingne, have already backed away from the actress. “They acted like they were her friends, but the moment Taylor was upset, they showed their true colours,” the source added. With Blake continuing to plead her case and Travis Kelce quietly backing Taylor, the odds of a full reconciliation remain uncertain. Still, Blake isn’t giving up. “She loves Taylor and misses her terribly, and she’ll do anything to fix this,” says the source. Whether Swift—and Kelce—are willing to open that door again remains to be seen. Also Read: Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce’s NFL flex pose sparks political controversy over Donald Trump comparison

NEW DELHI: RJD leader and former Bihar deputy chief minister Tejashwi Yadav on Saturday launched a sharp attack on Prime Minister Narendra Modi, accusing him of influencing the Election Commission (EC) ahead of the upcoming Bihar assembly elections. He alleged that the Prime Minister has instructed the poll body to cancel the entire voter list of Bihar and prepare a new one based on documents from before 1987.Tejashwi made the allegation in a post on X, stating, “Prime Minister Narendra Modi has directed the Election Commission to cancel Bihar’s entire voter list and create a new voter list within 25 days, using only paper-based evidence from before 1987. In their frustration over electoral defeat, these people are now conspiring to strip Bihar and its people of their voting rights.”He further claimed that under the pretext of a “special intensive revision,” people’s names would be removed from the voter rolls, affecting their access to basic welfare schemes.“Under the guise of a special intensive revision, they will remove your vote to prevent the issuance of voter ID cards. Then, they will deprive you of ration, pension, reservation, scholarships, and other scheme benefits,” Tejashwi added. He also mentioned raising the issue with other leaders in the opposition alliance. “I discussed this matter in detail with Mahagathbandhan colleagues during a press conference yesterday,” he said. The statement comes just months before Bihar goes to polls for 243 assembly seats. The BJP, led by Prime Minister Modi, is contesting in alliance with Nitish Kumar’s JD(U) under the NDA banner. Meanwhile, Tejashwi Yadav’s RJD, as part of the opposition INDIA bloc, will challenge the ruling alliance in the state elections.

Kolkata rape case: BJP forms committee for investigation; slams TMC for ‘state-sponsored brutality’ | India News

Kolkata rape case: BJP forms committee for investigation; slams TMC for 'state-sponsored brutality'
Sambit Patra held press conference slamming TMC over the rape case

NEW DELHI: BJP on Saturday took a jab at the TMC government in the wake of the reported gangrape case at the private law college in Kolkata. National spokesperson Sambit Patra, in a press conference, pointed to the reported connection of the main accused to TMC. “In a state where there is a woman Chief Minister, there should be sensitivity towards women, but why is there so much insensitivity and cruelty? The victim has issued a statement herself. If we read it carefully, one thing becomes clear that this entire vicious cycle of gangrape is somewhere state-sponsored. It is a brutal act inspired by a political point of view. Why am I saying this? Because it is related to a college union, the main accused is Manoj Mishra. Manoj Mishra himself has been the secretary of the student wing of TMC. He is a member of TMC,” he said.During the briefing, he also mentioned a formation of a committee made my the party for an investigation. “BJP President JP Nadda has formed a committee, and that committee will visit the spot and investigate. Its members are former Union Ministers Satpal Singh, Meenakshi Lekhi and MPs Biplab Deb and Manan Mishra. This committee will soon visit the spot and submit its report to the National President,” said Patra.Patra further directly called on West Bengal CM Mamata Banerjee, saying, “We are not asking for clarification from Mamata Banerjee. We are asking her to apologise and resign.”The alleged gang rape occurred on Wednesday evening within the campus of South Calcutta Law College in Kasba. Police arrested three suspects—Monojit Mishra, 31, Zaib Ahmed, 19, and Pramit Mukhopadhyay, 20—within 24 hours. Additionally, another arrest related to the case was made on Saturday.
