Haryana Man Quits Stable Bank Job To Deliver Milk In An Audi

A Haryana man has become a local sensation after quitting a stable bank job to deliver milk in a luxury car. Amit Bhadana, from Mohabbatabad village in Faridabad, has turned his passion for high-end bikes and cars into a full-time profession.

After graduation, he secured a steady position at a bank. But Mr Bhadana realised the corporate world was limiting his ability to pursue his passion. He told ETV Bharat that the demands of his bank job prevented him from indulging in his love for vehicles, which upset him.

Coming from a family already involved in the milk business, Mr Bhadana saw an opportunity to merge his love for vehicles with the family’s trade. “I decided to make my passion a profession and fulfil it along with the family business,” he explained to the outlet. He quit his bank job and began delivering milk to homes on his motorcycle.

To fulfil his dream, Mr Bhadana first bought a Harley-Davidson bike, which allowed him to enjoy his passion while carrying out his work.

The business began to grow rapidly, and as his deliveries expanded, he upgraded his mode of transport. Today, Amit Bhadana delivers milk to his customers in an Audi car worth approximately Rs 1 crore.

His unique story has gone viral, especially on social media. Known as ‘Harley wala dudhiya’, (The Milkman with a Harley)’ Mr Bhadana shared a video of himself delivering milk on his bike, which quickly went viral.

He said he was passionate about his work and was not embarrassed. “Driving a car is my hobby and I cannot leave my passion. Now I have blended my passion with the family business, due to which I am earning and my hobby is also getting fulfilled,” he told the outlet.

Mr Bhadana also credited his family’s support in helping him continue the business, saying they were proud of him.

Customers who have been purchasing milk from Mr Bhadana for years have been equally impressed with his journey. A long-time customer, who has seen him deliver milk for 13 years, said, “The only difference is that earlier he used to deliver milk on a bike worth lakhs of rupees, and today he comes in an Audi worth crore rupees.”

In Faridabad, Amit Bhadana’s luxury milk delivery service has become a popular topic of conversation, with many locals stopping to take photos and videos of his Audi.

NEW DELHI: India and France on Monday signed a mega Rs 63,000 crore deal to buy 26 Rafale Marine aircraft for the Indian Navy. During the agreement, the Indian side was represented by defence secretary Rajesh Kumar Singh, where Navy vice chief admiral K Swaminathan was present.
The deal, which comes amid the heightened tension between India and Pakistan, was cleared by the PM Modi-led cabinet committee on security earlier this month. The jets will primarily operate from the deck of the indigenous aircraft carrier INS Vikrant.
The government-to-government contract for the 22 single-seat Rafale-M jets and four twin-seat trainers includes some weapons, simulators, crew training and five-year performance-based logistics support.
The 26 Rafale-M fighters, designed for maritime strike, air defence and reconnaissance missions, will be delivered in 37 to 65 months, which will involve India paying an initial 15% instalment of the total cost of the deal.
“The new IGA mirrors the one inked in the IAF deal. All the 26 jets are to be delivered by 2031,” an official had told TOI.
The omni-role 4.5-generation Rafales, incidentally, are also capable of delivering nuclear weapons. In addition to the 70-km range Exocet AM39 anti-ship missiles, the Rafale-M jets will be armed with long-range precision strike weapons like the IAF variant.
They include the over 300-km range ‘Scalp’ air-to-ground cruise missiles and the top-notch Meteor air-to-air missiles, which have a strike range of 120 to 150-km to take on enemy jets.
The Rafale-M had emerged as the frontrunner over the American F/A-18 Super Hornet after extensive trials conducted by the Navy in 2022. The French fighter, in any case, had a head start on logistical, commonality of spares and maintenance after the IAF inducted its 36 Rafales.
The Navy currently has only 40 of the 45 MiG-29K jets, inducted from Russia at a cost of $2 billion from 2009 onwards, to operate from the decks of its two over 40,000-tonne aircraft carriers, the older Russian-origin INS Vikramaditya and the new indigenous INS Vikrant.
Moreover, the MiG-29Ks have also been dogged by poor serviceability and other problems over the years. With the indigenous twin-engine deck-based fighter (TEDBF) likely to take at least a decade to become operational, the Navy had pushed for the 26 Rafale-M jets as an interim measure.

Dawn Among 16 Pak YouTube Channels Banned In India, BBC Gets A Warning Too

Quick Take

Summary is AI generated, newsroom reviewed.

India has banned 16 Pakistani YouTube channels, with a total of 63 million subscribers, for spreading provocative content after the Pahalgam terror attack. The ban follows government recommendations and includes major news outlets and journalists.

New Delhi:

Sixteen Pakistani YouTube channels with a total of 63 million subscribers have been banned in India for spreading provocative and communally sensitive content in the aftermath of the Pahalgam terror attack, according to government sources. The YouTube channels have been banned on the Union Home Ministry’s recommendations.

The banned platforms include YouTube channels of news outlets Dawn, Samaa TV, ARY News, Bol News, Raftar, Geo News and Suno News. YouTube channels of journalists Irshad Bhatti, Asma Shirazi, Umar Cheema and Muneeb Farooq have also been banned. Other handles that have been banned include The Pakistan Reference, Samaa Sports, Uzair Cricket and Razi Naama.

According to sources in the government, these YouTube channels have been disseminating provocative and communally sensitive content, false and misleading narratives and misinformation against India, its Army and security agencies amid strained ties between the neighbours in the wake of the Pahalgam tragedy, in which 25 tourists and a Kashmiri were shot dead by terrorists in cold blood.

If one tries to access these channels, they will be greeted by the following message: “This content is currently unavailable in this country because of an order from the government related to national security or public order. For more details about government removal requests, please visit the Google Transparency Report (transparencyreport.google.com).”

India has cracked down hard against Pakistan, suspected of having played a key role in the Pahalgam terror attack. New Delhi has suspended the Indus Water Treaty and visa services for Pakistani nationals. Islamabad has responded that it has the right to suspend all bilateral pacts with India, including the Simla Agreement.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi has vowed that those involved and behind the April 22 terror attack would get a punishment they cannot even imagine. He has said India will identify, track and punish every terrorist and their backers and our spirit will never be broken.

“From Kargil to Kanyakumari, there is grief and rage. This attack was not just on innocent tourists; the country’s enemies have shown the audacity to attack India’s soul,” the Prime Minister has said. “The time has come to raze whatever is left of the terror haven. The will of 140 crores will break the back of the masters of terror,” he added.

The government has also warned the BBC over a headline that read, “Pakistan suspends visas for Indians after deadly Kashmir attack on tourists”. Several social media users had pointed out that the headline read as if “India killed the tourists”. The External Publicity Department of the Ministry of External Affairs has said the country’s “strong sentiments” have been conveyed to Jackie Martin, India Head for BBC, regarding their reporting on the terror attack, sources have said. A formal letter on BBC referring to terrorists as militants has also been sent. The government, the sources said, will monitor BBC’s reporting.

‘Islam teaches us peace’: Shahid Afridi says India kill its own people | Cricket News

Former Pakistan captain Shahid Afridi has once again made a scathing attack on the Indian government and the Indian army for the recent terrorist attack in Pahalgam. At least 26 persons — mostly tourists — were killed by terrorists on Tuesday at the Baisaran meadows in the popular destination in the Kashmir valley.
“The terrorists continued to kill people in Pahalgam for an hour, and not a single Indian soldier out of 8 lakhs showed up. But when they did, they blamed Pakistan,” Afridi told local media reporters in Pakistan.
Afridi also blasted India for killing its own people and then putting the blame on Pakistan.
“India carries out terrorism itself, kills its own people, and then puts the blame on Pakistan,” he said.
“No country or religion supports terrorism. We always support peace. Islam teaches us peace only, and Pakistan never supports such kinds of acts.
“We have always tried to improve our relations with India.
Who’s that IPL player?
“We received so many threats before travelling to India. During the 2016 T20 World Cup, I was the captain, and I had no clue whether we would go or not.
Sports diplomacy is also good. They send their kabaddi team here, but they can’t send their cricket team. If you want to shut it down, then do it completely, or let sport.”
On Saturday, Afridi had also slammed the Indian media for their “senseless” coverage of the terror attack.
Hairat hoti hai ki hamle ke ek ghante ke baad hi unka media Bollywood ban gaya. Khuda ke liye har kuch ko Bollywood mat banao (It’s surprising that within an hour of the attack, their media turned into Bollywood. For God’s sake, don’t make everything Bollywood),” Afridi said on Samaa TV.
Main hairaan ho gaya, balki main enjoy kar raha tha jis tarah ki woh baatein kar rahe they (I was astonished, in fact, I was enjoying the way they were talking).”

Virat Kohli and KL Rahul were involved in an heated argument during Royal Challengers Bengaluru‘s (RCB) match against Delhi Capitals at the Arun Jaitley Stadium on Sunday.
However, the context of the argument was not clear from the stumps mic but it looked like Kohli was visibly upset about something.
Virat Kohli scored another fifty to lift RCB to the top of the IPL table with a six-wicket win over Delhi Capitals.
Chasing 163, RCB were reduced to 26 for 3 before Kohli (51) and Krunal Pandya (73 not out) shared a 119-run stand off 84 to overhaul the target in 18.3 overs and extend their unbeaten run away from home.
“It was a top win, especially looking at the surface. We saw a few games here and this wicket played out differently compared to those. Whenever there’s a chase on, I keep checking with the dugout, whether we’re on course,” Kohli, who donned the orange cap, said after the win.
“I try and make sure my singles and doubles don’t stop so that the game doesn’t get stagnant. People are forgetting the importance of partnerships and that’s coming to the fore in this tournament to try and dominate the bowlers through partnerships and professionalism.”
Who’s that IPL player?
Kohli also showered praise on Krunal Pandya.
“Krunal was outstanding, he can make an impact and it was just about time. We’ve communicated beautifully, Krunal kept telling me to stay while he took his chances,” said Kohli.

Sachin Tendulkar at 52: Power, Pride, and a Nation’s Pulse

Talking about the finishers, Kohli said: “We have the extra power in Tim David, there’s Jitesh as well. That firepower at the back end of the innings definitely helps you. And now Romario as well.”
Kohli lauded the bowlers: “Hazlewood and Bhuvi are world-class bowlers, there’s a reason why Josh has the Purple Cap. Krunal was outstanding the way he varied his pace. Suyash has been the dark horse for us, even if he doesn’t have the wickets. Our spinners keep attacking in the middle overs.”

Canadians To Choose Their Next PM Today

Quick Take

Summary is AI generated, newsroom reviewed.

Liberals, led by Mark Carney, face Conservatives under Pierre Poilievre.

Polling shows Carney’s Liberals have a narrow lead ahead of voting.

Results will start coming in after polls close on Monday.

Ottawa:

Canada Election 2025: Canadians are set to elect a new government on Monday, as the Liberals led by Mark Carney try to extend their hold on power against Pierre Poilievre’s Conservatives. Candidates made their final push for votes on Sunday, but the final hours of campaigning were rattled by a deadly car-ramming attack in Vancouver. The deadly attack briefly shifted the nation’s focus away from US President Donald Trump, whose trade war and threats to annexe Canada have outraged Canadians.

Prime Minister Carney briefly paused his last day campaign schedule to address the nation after a driver plowed into a crowd at a Filipino street festival, killing 11 people. A 30-year-old man who police said had a history of mental health issues and previous interactions with law enforcement was in custody following the attack that injured dozens.

Carney, a 60-year-old father of four, teared up as he voiced support for those affected and said, “Last night families lost a sister, a brother, a mother, a father, a son, or a daughter…Those families are living every family’s nightmare.”

Poilievre, appearing alongside his wife at a church in the election battleground city of Mississauga west of Toronto, condemned the attack as a “senseless act of violence.”

“Our hearts are with you today. All Canadians are united in solidarity with the Filipino community,” Poilievre said.

What Opinion Polls Say?

Opinion polls show that Canadians believe Carney — a two-time central banker and former college hockey goalie who took over this year after Justin Trudeau resigned– is the strongest candidate ahead of Monday’s election. Meanwhile, Poilievre, a 45-year-old who has been in parliament for two decades, has worked to keep the focus on living costs that soared during Trudeau’s decade in power, arguing Carney would bring a continuation of what he calls failed Liberal governance.

However, pollsters say Carney’s Liberals maintain a narrow lead in popular support ahead of final voting, thanks to his strong stance against the US after Trump slapped tariffs on Canada and repeatedly referred to the once-close ally as the 51st US state. The American President’s comments enraged Canadians and reversed a lead of some 20 points for Poilievre, whom the Liberals have compared to Trump.

British Columbia’s 43 electoral districts are among the country’s most closely contested battlegrounds. A Nanos poll on Sunday said the gap between the two front-running parties was approximately 4 percentage points, slightly wider than it had been on Saturday. The poll put national Liberal support at 43 per cent versus 38.9 per cent for the Conservatives.

When Will Results Be Out?

Advance polls in Canada were held from April 18 to April 21, allowing voters to cast their ballots ahead of the general election day. Nearly 2 million Canadians voted on the first day of advance polling, setting a new single-day turnout record. On the final voting day on Monday, polling stations will be open from 9 am to 9 pm local time, allowing eligible voters to cast their votes.

Given Canada’s six time zones, results will begin to trickle in shortly after polls close in the Atlantic provinces. The final results will be reported as polling stations close in the Pacific time zone.

Approximately 28 million Canadians are registered to vote across 343 ridings, an increase from 338 in the 2021 election.

That result in national voting would likely translate into a Liberal win, because opinion polls show that the party’s support is more concentrated than the Conservatives’ in urban areas rich with electoral districts, or seats. It is unclear if it would result in the Liberals winning a majority of seats to govern without a smaller party’s help.

When voting closes on Monday, Conservatives will be closely watching the performance of smaller parties like the left-wing New Democratic Party (NDP) and the separatist Bloc Quebecois.

In past Canadian elections, strong NDP performances in Ontario and British Columbia, and a good showing by the Bloc in Quebec, have curbed Liberal seat tallies, but polls suggest both smaller parties could be facing a setback.

Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra & more: Top stocks on brokers’ radar for April 28

Axis Bank, Tech Mahindra & more: Top stocks on brokers' radar for April 28

Morgan Stanley has an ‘overweight’ rating on Axis Bank with a target price of Rs 1,300. Analysts said the bank’s earnings remained subdued with loan and deposit growth muted, and gross credit costs (ex-agriculture) stayed elevated. They said both were largely expected. They also feel that the stock could be under near-term pressure, as the condition could continue for a few more quarters before asset quality turns for the better.
Jefferies has a ‘buy’ rating on SBI Life with the target price at Rs 2,000. Analysts said during the Jan-march quarter, SBI Life’s value of new business growth of 10% on an annualised basis to Rs 1,700 surprised positively aided by better product mix and term insurance attachment. The life insurer’s premium (APE) growth was softer at 2% partly due to slower ULIPs and efforts to improve mix.
Goldman Sachs has a ‘buy’ rating on SBI Cards with the target price at Rs 1,006. Analysts said SBI Cards’ pre-provision operating profit growth of 4% annually was as per expectation. They also said that the company’s credit costs have finally shown an improvement after seeing an increase consecutively for the last five quarters. They also expect further improvement from FY25 to FY26.
Citigroup has a ‘sell’ call on Tech Mahindra with the target price at Rs 1,265. Analysts said that the IT major delivered a slow Jan-March quarter with revenues below expectation and margins in line. They said that while the management is executing well, expectations are high.
HSBC has a ‘reduce’ call on Rallis India with the target price at Rs 210. Analysts said the company missed estimates across segments during the Jan-March quarter, and domestic pricing pressure is a concern. The company’s business model revamp was commendable but gradual. And challenging conditions persist for the company.

Who is Tejpaul Bhatia? Indian-origin executive takes over as Axiom Space CEO ahead of historic Indian astronaut mission

Who is Tejpaul Bhatia? Indian-origin executive takes over as Axiom Space CEO ahead of historic Indian astronaut mission
Indian-origin executive Tejpaul Bhatia (In middle)

In a major leadership change just weeks prior to an Indian astronaut launching on a historic mission, Axiom Space announced Indian-origin executive Tejpaul Bhatia as its new Chief Executive Officer.
Bhatia, formerly the Chief Revenue Officer of the Houston-headquartered firm, joins at a time of great importance. Group Captain Shubhanshu Shukla, chosen by the Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) and NASA, will fly to the International Space Station next month on Axiom’s Ax-4 mission, a collaboration that sees India enter a new era for human spaceflight.
Under pressure from previous private astronaut missions to the bottom line, Axiom is working against the clock to make good on its ambitious vow: Replacing the International Space Station (ISS) with a commercial one by 2030. The switch is at a pivotal moment for the space economy, and Axiom is leading the charge.
“I’ve been inspired by space exploration since childhood, and leading Axiom Space at this critical inflection point in human spaceflight is the realization of a lifelong ambition,” said Bhatia in a statement. “We are accelerating our investment in next-generation technologies — spacesuits, orbital infrastructure, and microgravity research — and we’re actively seeking passionate, visionary engineers, technologists, and entrepreneurs to build humanity’s future in space.”
Bhatia’s record at Axiom is impressive. The firm in its official website mentioned that since joining in 2021, he has brought in more than $1 billion in contracts, arranged the first sovereign government buys of private astronaut missions, and spearheaded collaborations such as the one with Prada to develop next-generation spacesuits for Nasa’s Artemis III lunar mission. Prior to his stint at Axiom, Bhatia was a startup entrepreneur, an ESPN executive, and a strategic leader at Google Cloud.
Axiom co-founder and former interim CEO Kam Ghaffarian welcomed Bhatia’s appointment. “Tej has been instrumental in turning Axiom’s vision into reality. His entrepreneurial drive and commitment to our mission will ensure Axiom’s leadership as the space economy accelerates.”

Blood boiling but national unity will steer Pahalgam response: PM Modi | India News

Blood boiling but national unity will steer Pahalgam response: PM Modi

NEW DELHI: Reiterating his resolve to punish perpetrators of the Pahalgam attack and their patrons and emphasising that the “blood of every Indian is boiling”, Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Sunday said the unity demonstrated by grief-stricken 140 crore Indians was going to be the biggest source of strength for India’s “decisive fight” against terrorism.
“In this war against terrorism, the unity of the country, the solidarity of 140 crore Indians is our biggest strength. This unity is the cornerstone of our decisive fight against terrorism. We have to strengthen our resolve to face this challenge that has appeared before the country. We have to demonstrate strong willpower as a nation. Today, the world is watching, after this terrorist attack, the whole country is speaking in one voice,” the PM said in his monthly radio address.
The focus on unity came amid the bellicose threat issued by Pakistan’s defence minister Khwaja Asif to set off terror attacks in each Indian city.

PM repeats resolve to punish perpetrators, their controllers

No matter which state one belongs to, no matter which language one speaks, one is feeling the pain of those who have lost their loved ones in this attack. I can feel that the blood of every Indian has been on the boil after seeing the pictures of the terrorist attack,” Modi said as he repeated his resolve to hand severest punishment to the perpetrators and their controllers. “I once again assure the affected families that they will get justice, justice will be done. The perpetrators and conspirators of this attack will be served with the harshest response.”
The PM also said the terrorists and their patrons were driven by desperation to reverse the progress achieved by Jammu and Kashmir in recent years.
“At a time when peace was returning to Kashmir, schools and colleges were vibrant, construction work had gained unprecedented pace, democracy was getting stronger, the number of tourists was increasing at a record rate, people’s income was increasing, new opportunities were being created for the youth. The enemies of the country, the enemies of Jammu and Kashmir, did not like that,” he said. “They want Kashmir to be destroyed again and so executed the heinous conspiracy.”
He also underlined that the international community shared the anger.
“Anger that we the people of India feel, that anger is there in the whole world. After this terrorist attack, condolences are continuously pouring in from all over the world. Global leaders have called me up as well, written letters and sent messages too. Everyone has strongly condemned this heinous terrorist attack. They have expressed condolences to the families of the deceased. The whole world stands with 140 crore Indians in our fight against terrorism.”

NEET-UG set for May 4 amid steps to foil any malpractice

NEET-UG set for May 4 amid steps to foil any malpractice

NEW DELHI: National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct NEET (Undergraduate) 2025 on Sunday at around 5,500 exam centres across India and abroad, marking a sharp increase from last year’s 4,750 centres spread over 571 cities. This year, the test will be held across 552 cities in India and 14 international locations.
Monitored by the education ministry, 180 central institutions have been entrusted to verify the preparedness of the centres. In some states, such as Assam, following a request from CM Himanta Biswa Sarma, all centres are located in govt-run institutions.
Candidates have been allotted centres based primarily on their first-choice preferences, leading to expansion in several cities. Nearly 90% of the centers are located in govt-run institutions, including Kendriya Vidyalayas, Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas, and state govt schools, according to NTA officials.
Meanwhile, the datesheet for CUET-UG 2025, scheduled to commence on May 8, remains pending.
Following paperleak allegations and widespread complaints that marred NEET-UG 2024 , NTA has formed state-level and district-level committees to oversee logistics and security. According to NTA sources, district magistrates (DMs), superintendents of police (SPs), and senior local officials were consulted before finalising exam centers. They, along with district coordinators, will jointly supervise arrangements to ensure seamless conduct.
NTA has also launched a dedicated portal for reporting suspicious activities related to NEET-UG 2025.
