The Spices Board plans to disburse ₹130 crore to almost 45,000 beneficiaries in 2025-2026 under the SPICED Scheme.
The “Sustainability in Spice Sector through Progressive, Innovative and Collaborative Interventions for Export Development” (SPICED) scheme, with a total outlay of Rs. 422.30 crore and end in 2025-2026, is designed to expand area and improve productivity of cardamom and generate an exportable surplus through multiple initiatives.
The board disbursed ₹130 crore last fiscal to nearly 40,000 stakeholders. It will accept applications for the SPICED scheme till June 30 under the export development and promotion components while applications for development components under other categories for farmers and FPOs can be submitted until September 30.
